Two Valentine One Radar Detectors vs Ka - 3.863 and 3.763

My V1 is on the left (3.863) and my friend's V1 (3.763) is on the right. He had bought it off of Craigslist, and it is completely dead on K band as you can see, but works well on Ka, X, and laser. Definitely needs a tune up to get K working again. Going up against a local LEO shooting Ka band, although he wasn't paying attention to traffic, just looking at his computer.

Valentine 1 Epic Laser Scatter Detection !!!

Was going down the interstate and got like 4-5 laser scatter alerts on the Valentine 1 before it was my turn. You will also hear my Blinders picked up a few laser scatter alerts before he hit. What is cool is if you look close you can see the light in the HUD of his laser gun light up every-time he shots a car. Also at the end the Escort Redline finally alerted what fail !!! My V1 is so awesome now it is detecting laser like radar, LOL. Keyowrds: Escort Redline, Valentine 1, Blinder Laser Jammers, speeding, laser, laser scatter, police, cops

Valentine 1: Local Cop had a great Speed Trap setup !!!

Picked up a local cop using hand-held K band instant on with the Valentine 1 he had a great speed trap location. Parked in a church parking lot. He is blocked by the sign and the church you don't see him until it's too late. I am not sure why he didn't pull over the White car he I/O'ed that went by everyone in the right hand lane, it was that guys lucky day. The cop even pulled out like he was going to chase him, and then stopped and backed up into his hiding spot again.

Valentine One: Arrows at work.

If it isn't already obvious why the arrows are important. Here's an example. After passing one Constant On K band signal and identifying the first police car the V1 clocks a new K signal ahead in spite of the SR7 ramping down from the old signal. The new K band threat is a seconds police car chasing a speeder. Without the arrows it's very likely I would have dismissed the SR7s second alert as an echo.

Valentine One Radar Detector - Take Advantage Of Years Of Refinement For A Discount Price

The Valentine One radar detector is a highly capable unit and is a result of decades of research and refinement. Importantly, it is one of the only detectors on the market today that has forward and rear facing antennas.

You may have read some favorable reviews and might be wondering where you can get your hands on this unit for an extremely competitive price. You may also be undecided about this unit and need more convincing.

If this sounds like you, please read on...

Traditional single antenna units rely on the incoming signal from the speed camera hitting the front of the car as this is the way they are facing. However, if the signal is emanating from the side or rear of the vehicle, then you are not going to be protected from those particular radar and speed cameras. You also run the risk of driving along and having a patrol car close in on your position from behind without you even knowing about it. Even if nothing else appealed to you about the Valentine model, then this factor alone should appeal to you.

This unit has an extremely long detection range and has the ability to track multiple threats simultaneously. One often overlooked benefit of the One is that is does not distract you while you are driving. During the day it doesn't bounce bright sunshine back into your eyes or catch the attention of other road users - this is due to its non reflective construction material. At night it is equally as impressive with an easy to read LED display that alerts you to specific threats but is not so bright that it blinds you or draws attention to yourself.

In my opinion, a radar detector has to be good at what it's supposed to do, but it also has to be user friendly and functional. The Valentine One definitely has this perfect mix, but it does come at a price.

Valentine 1 outstanding detection

Driving home the other night I recorded my V1 picking up police Ka from well over a mile away. I drive past a shopping center next to which a car was pulled over with a cop running Ka. There are several X-bands getting picked up because of the shopping center hence the many arrows since I have all signals on for detection. As you can see as I pull away from the shopping center I lose the X-band signals and maintain the Ka for quite some time. I picked the cop up over a mile away, drove by, and continued to pick him up for at least a mile after passing him.

Why The Valentine 1 Radar Detector Is The Best

The Valentine One radar detector picks up all radar bands. Not only that, but the Valentine One has superior range for greater action than any other greater effect on the market. Based on that alone, the V1 detector has proven itself to be a premium product in the speed detection and prevention industry.

While many claim the Valentine 1 is too expensive, the price tag of $420 is a very small investment when you truly understand the detection and protection you will have.

A Valentine One detector has been tested to pick up KA-band at up to 10 miles away. Given that most police radar guns choose KA band, it is safe to say that this detector will properly protect you if you are driving over the posted speed limit.

On top of that, it can also pick up laser, or lidar, at distances nearly one half of a mile away. Going along with picking up straight laser or lidar shot directly at your vehicle, the detector is one of the best at picking up laser scatter. Laser scatter is what happens when a police officer is shooting laser at another vehicle and the laser beam reflects and eventually hits your car or your detector alerting you that there is a threat ahead.

Most people think that the Valentine one can only pick up radar or laser on a straightaway road. However, that is completely untrue. The detector can pick up laser or radar over hills, around bends in the road, or in heavy traffic.

The Valentine One company has positioned themselves similar to the Porsche 911. The Porsche 911 has not changed the layout or the look of the vehicle in multiple decades. Similarly, the Valentine One has had upgraded software and hardware but never a design change. Doing this shows consumers that the company cares more about speed detection and threat prevention than the looks of their products.
