Sho-Me 320 Radar Detector

Sho-Me 320 Radar DetectorA radar detector is a compact electronic device used to detect and inform the user of any radars located in the coverage zone of the detector that radiate radio waves or laser rays, which the detector is designed to detect. In its essence, such radar detector is a passive receiver that doesn't suppress signals. Sho-Me 320 is a car radar detector operating off of 12 V direct current available through the cigarette lighter. To turn on the radar the user needs to rotate the control switch clockwise. The control switch is also used to adjust the sound volume. Sho-Me 320 produces certain signals, when the use of radars or lasers is detected. The pause between the signals gets smaller as the vehicle approaches the detected radar or laser. This detector also uses light indicators. The red LED goes on when the detector discovers a radar operating in the X-range, the yellow one - in the K range. When the detector discovers a K range radar, the red and the yellow LEDs go on simultaneously. When the S1-S4 LEDs go on and blink in a rolling mode, this means that the detector has discovered a laser signal. Sho-me detector supports 4 operation modes. When the "CITY" mode is activated, the detector's sensitivity to the devices operating in the X-range decreases. Such devices are for example switches of street lamps, alarm systems and automatic doors. If the "CITY" mode is not activated after the detector has been turned on, the default mode is "HIGHWAY".
